    Automatic update never updates, doing it manually always gives this error.

    Kari, you need to try the repair option on you Office. If that doesn't work, uninstall, reboot and reinstall. That sounds like a firewall problem honestly.

    Sheesh and since I did a clean install, I can't even reinstall Office 2016! I don't know if it's Windows 10, servers getting hammered or some kind of outage for the Office servers, but I had to install Office 2013 .msi in order to get Outlook back.
