    Some changes to 10547:

    • Start Menu now supports a fourth column of tiles - an option that can be toggled on and off.
    • The previous limit of 512 tiles on Start has been bumped up to 2,048. I am not sure what the usage scenario would be for that many tiles on the Start Menu but now there is room for even more.
    • Tablet Mode updated to allow users to snap apps left or right from Task View and swipe down to close an app.
    • Updates for built in apps have also shipped.
    • The background picture on the sign-in screen can now be turned off under Personalization settings.
    • Microsoft Edge receives a new build that now includes Object RTC. Learn more at the Microsoft Edge blog.
    • Text input panel update provides more space for Latin writers; no longer opens by default unless in Tablet Mode, improved help suggestions.

have decided new 10547 memory management model is not ready for prime time. perfectly ordinary activity maxes at 96% slows things to a crawl especially built-on-fly stuff like file search, add favorite, context menu. Also rmapp.exe from MS SysInternals does not work, at all, with this build.

    Same here.

I am noticing that sometimes when I click on Start it won't open. If I then right click on it, close the popup shows up, and then click on it, it will open. A bit of a hassle, but . . .

Try opening the windows store >open the little person icon top rt > downloads and updatess > download visible and or applicable updates ,there may be some pending UI app updates in there that's how the UI apps get updated outside of a new build .

I updated my mail client app and a couple of others that way a few days ago there are two more pending updates in my store app right now .

I think you'll get the new icons when you update those apps in the Store.

Thanks, but doesn't seems working for me so far. I had a chain of stock Apps updated including Mail in the last couple of days. I found that this build requires more restarts than last to bring it back to normal when after updates.

Since I installed Build 10547. My Desktop Acer crashes as soon as touch the ctrl Button. As well as the self installed Apps do not run anymore. with older Builds everything worked perfectly. How to go back to Build 10532 ?
I would suggest you to be little more patient and run restart few more times before trying to recover to the earlier build.

Make sure you didn't do the "Clean up system files" before, in case you want to recover to build 10532.

To recover to build 10532, follow this: Go Settings>Update & Security>Recovery, choose Get started from Go back to an earlier build.

    Thanks, I appreciate it.

*edit* Unfortunately, those MS update catalog links don't work... even if you use IE.
I just get them direct from the Realtek ftp server.
