Thanks so much for that download link Night Hawk , very helpful.
Which one? The one for Waterfox? That turned out to be a great substitute for IE and 64bit over the the FF being strictly 32bit once you get things set up. The only thing noticed now however is when clicking on the link for a reply like your in the inbox that get the email notification instead of seeing a new browser window open up automatically as it has been doing all along on 7 you now have to right click on the link to select the new tab or new windows option every time!

Now if someone posts a link on the other a new window will open right up. I've been going through all of the settings and have reverted back to previous versions like WF 34 now that 40.01 is out and no results for that seen. To run it you simply refer to the Firefox guides seen at Mozilla since it simply the 64bit kernel while just about every thing else with it is still FF based.

As for the guide on seeing SP1 slipstreamed I still have a few 7 sticks here that saw that done as well as the original ISOs I keep on one of the storage drives. Those are now also seeing 10 ISOs and project folders full of 10 files for making up the 4 in 1 type 32/64, Home/Pro combinations sticks rather then carrying one for each. The laptop however required a dvd so I had to see each 10 download burned to disk if the event comes up again like a pair of 8.1 laptops?

The only problem I have had with IE has been....it would not accept Duckduckgo as a home page. Someone in here recommended DDG and it seems to be as good as google. I checked IE yesterday and it did have the DDG as my home page. You never can be sure regarding computers. Lots of surprises, good and bad.

Use Firefox and it will let you.
    @night Hawk Firefox 42Beta 4 has a 64 Bit Browser.

FF is my main browser, but I do go to IE to block unwanted sites. Blocking them on just one site doesn't work for me.

Gary, I said sites when actual it is cookies I am blocking. I haven't found any sites that needed me to block them. I sure would be careful of downloading Revo though.

Opera's the most trouble free and easy to figure out browser i have found , arranges everything right in front of you and has tons of options if you want them , i'm very surprised the statistics show only 1% of households use it.

Chrome seems to be targeted by browser hijackers 24/7 which was a pita, it also has a huge footprint . IE 11 is really the only other one that i find somewhat usable and it's fast , i just can't tolerate the MSN stuff .

Basically that's all I was interested in seeing so I could import mail from multiple accounts rather then the need to keep signing out of one in order to sign in to another. The Live Mail app allows for importing the mail from several WLM type accounts as well as seeing other email providers and why I saved the original wlcustomsetup.exe along with the standard wlsetup.exe file. Those no longer work however since you now go through outlook.com instead.

It took them long enough! I think that being seen now has more to do with the 64bit Flash Player and Adobe x64 appearing lately explaining the interest Mozilla suddenly took in seeing a 64bit flavor introduced. You have to wonder how that once done will stacks up against Waterfox since that's been around now for several years already.

The av software here or rather VIPRE Internet Security 2015 on the present time includes a firewall with web filtering I tend to label the "Overprotective Nanny" since I have to keep shutting VIPRE down at times just to get onto otherwise clean sites! If any download sees a Google or Yahoo or some other toolbar option VIPRE instantly puts the download into quaranteen.

Likewise Norton came out with their own Internet Security suite I imagine also includes a degree of filtering as well. The regular av programs on the other hand do not keep stuff from getting on your system but are supposed to removed it once any bug does. The web filtering simply saves the need since that doesn't want to allow a number of things to go through as well as being too quick but better in a way at blocking more sites then needed to be at times when any little thing raises flags.

That's not a download link but a guide that explains how to extract the 7 set up files into a folder and then add in the service pack and updates before seeing all that rolled up into a new ISO image ready for disk or a flash drive. What that does is save on the total amount of time it would take to play catch when and if you had to reinstall 7 from scratch and the wait for all those updates all over again. Ironically I would have to redo one flash drive since the SP1 mesh didn't take for some reason and recently I had to download that for a separate install for the repeat attempts for the first 10 upgrade.

I was running with Opera before coming across Waterfox and it isn't too hard to figure out which prevailed. I actually had a long list of browsers being tried out on 7 about 5yrs. back including the last version of Netscape, ran Sea Monkey briefly, Opera was on for quite a period of time. Chrome was to see a fast look and dumped fast!

Since Waterfox was 64bit at the time I would have to open up an IE page to view any embedded videos. I was still able to watch YouTube clips but ran into issues on different sites. Waterfox has it's own option for telling sites you don't want to be tracked which disables the cookies situation. I see that enough where if I go to some blog site I get the prompt about "This site uses cookies". Sorry I think as I wasn't looking for baked goods at the time!

The Get Windows 10 Application checks for compatibility and gives you a report. I assume if your system isn't compatible it won't do the download. It won't let you reserve your upgrade if it isn't.
Windows 10 checks for compatibility and says your good to go! But my laptop is not good to go at all, and update fails.

    Very annoying
