I can in a way understand why microsoft would do it, since most ppl don't even check. But this is a big no no to most power users like myself. I willfully upgraded to win 10 on the hand in hopes of dx12 and I enjoyed the beta and thought it was a good os.

How did you uninstall I.E. in windows 10? I thought that was impossible.
No it is not impossible I went into control panel, Program and Features, at the top you have turn windows features on or off untick IE 11 it will ask if you are sure you confirm it will uninstall it restart your computer.
When it comes back on it will be gone,
If you want it back just do the reverse re tick it and it will put it back for you I have been without it for 5 weeks now and everything is working as it should

Because I hate it and when I had 8.1 it kept stopping and telling me it could not complete the action, and freezing my laptop, when upgraded to 10, I left it hoping it would be ok, but in the few hours I had it every time I went into Edge, IE11 over rode it and my mouse started going everywhere.
So unticked IE11 and since then my laptop has run faster, Edge goes to the sites and forums better and no freezes or crashes

Now I understand and that makes sense. I haven't used IE for ages. For me FF is the best and now I really am liking Edge. It's far from perfect but it has lots of promise.

I love Edge never used FF or Crome click my Edge in my sig and it will let you see what I have put in favourites bar all I do is click on them.
When I want msn page up I click the home button at top left hand side
in favourites bar now because of this new mail app I like I have removed outlook
but got MSN UK which cannot be removed, facebook, youtube google, twitter, groove, Ds Spy, and of course this forum, if I want to remove them I just right click and press remove and they are gone.
I can go from you tube to this forum with just one click
no crashes no freezes and fast

All you did was turn it off, it is still there. It is part of the OS you cannot "Uninstall" it.

    hTconeM9user,

I am not sure why a mouse would go everywhere and you computer would freeze that doesn't sound normal. However, my mouse behave strangely as well on all operating systems. This didn't fix it totally but I found it helpful-I set the mouse to single-click to open an item & set the sub option to underline titles only when I point to them. You can find the windows 10 mouse settings here file explorer options.

I don't find Win 10 useful to me either , way too much bloat and features / programs that i will never use . To make it even more unattractive they make it much harder to remove the things you don't want , just something i use now until i can get 7 back .

You can get it back now, why wait?
