Pre-download game updates
Your game updates will now download in advance of their official release so that you can jump right into playing when the new updates go live. This experience will vary per game, however, as this is an opt-in feature for publishers who wish to participate.

Achievement notifications
“Achievement unlocked” notifications will now show in your notification center within the Xbox app for PC.

Accessibility improvements
Alt text is now supported for images on game store pages, which can also be read by screen readers when enabled.

Offline mode improvements
Improvements have been made to show all game box art images for when you’re playing offline.

Compact mode updates
You can now enjoy a newer and better full-screen experience while using Compact mode, which is great for various handheld gaming setups. Also, a Settings button was added to the controller bar to allow quicker access to the settings you need to adjust during your game sessions.

Bug fixes

• Resolved an issue in which the Xbox app required a restart to function properly after repairing Gaming Services from within Windows settings.
• Fixed an issue in which some error messages were not properly displaying with relevant error codes.
• Fixed a bug in which navigation buttons were appearing outside the margins on some handheld devices.
• Resolved an issue in game hubs where the scroll bar and page tab navigation buttons were overlapping each other.
• Fixed a bug in which the “Jump to top” button was not working on game store pages.
