Built on a foundation of trust

A key concept of Microsoft 365 is the ‘tenant’—a secure, encrypted construct to support manageability and data privacy of your organizational data that is distinct, unique, and separate from all other Microsoft 365 tenants. Copilot is an orchestrator that integrates with your tenant, inheriting all your existing Microsoft 365 security, privacy, identity, and compliance requirements.

Its all great when they mention encryption and that data will be protected as a priority but this only protects against a third party.

Just remember that encryption in this case is a endpoint system it means that data is protected from outside sources but Microsoft still knows the keys,
When Microsoft is using 365 share point to delete encrypted malware then that means they know the key to that encrypted data on the other end of the transmission of that data.

This is the basis of cryptography in a nutshell but if you understand what they are doing then its also done in a dishonorable way because they should not be doing it.

This means then why are they opening Encrypted Malware over 365 services and then determining that its Malware? Because they should not be able to tell if they are not invading the instated encryption, its means its all relative and they are snooping it means yeah the data is protected from the outside but not from Microsoft. Microsoft is playing middle man on data where it should not be the case because its meant for the other two parties not Microsoft.

They only redeemed it by saying Azure and copilot don't collect data which i doubt is a half truth because there will be fine print, it could also be as simple as the wording many other services on Azure and 365 could do it instead sharepoint being one of them.

Also i mean encrypted data is also supposed to be hard to open so think about that, when Microsoft is opening it when they are not the intended endpoint only the transmission service. That data has a eavesdropping middle man called Microsoft esstially.
