• PDF tagging updates on Excel for Windows: Updating and reducing the accessibility tags added when a workbook is converted to a PDF.

• We fixed an issue that caused Outlook to exit unexpectedly when using Copilot Summarize.

Word

• Resolved an issue in Word where embedded objects couldn't be opened if the file needed to be checked out before editing.
• Resolved an issue where embedded objects couldn't be opened after signing a document and marking it as final.
• Resolved an issue in Outlook where background images wouldn't render correctly, requiring the user to scroll or click into the message for the image to appear.
• Resolved an issue where multiple newlines were appearing between paragraphs in multi-line comments while coauthoring.
• Resolved an issue where the comment anchor range would still show after the comment was resolved.
• Resolved an issue where AutoRecovered documents would be saved in compatibility mode.
