    • New! Starting April 23, 2024, the LCU will no longer have the reverse differentials. The client will generate the reverse update data. This change will help to reduce the LCU package size by about 20%. This change also offers a few advantages. It:
    • Reduces bandwidth usage
    • Provides faster downloads
    • Minimizes network traffic
Strange install progress reports, possibly due to this change? 'Status: installing' went from 0 to 100% three times before the install was completed.

I don't recall that installing a CU Preview Update ever even once kept me from getting the actual CU when it was released. Yet I keep installing them.

My semi-annual THANK-YOU to all who share their experiences with these Windows-10 updates. I think this one solved the crash that started occurring with my Crap Cleaner (CCleaner) software, about 6 months ago. (2009 HP Pavilion Desktop. Original Hardware.)

    Appreciatively,

Interesting! With this update to 19045.4355, Lock Screen "Weather and more" option showed up in Windows 10 like in Windows 11.

Spotlight for the background still crashes SystemSettings.exe.

This Lock Screen feature works only if you turn On News and Interests in TaskBar (right click TaskBar, look for News and Interests and select Off). Would you please turn it Off and tell us if there is any weather or other information on Lock Screen. I cannot make weather information to show on my computer Lock Screen with News and Interests turned Off, since I really do not like or need that option.

    Thank you.
