KB5036892 Windows 10 Cumulative Update build 19045.4291 (22H2) Win Update

After installing this update, I lost weather detailed information on Lock Screen. I know there is a Lock Screen change which will be roll out in next period, which brings more information banners on Lock Screen, besides weather information. As I read, it is connected with News and Interests in TaskBar or in settings to be turned On, which will launch this new feature on Personalize/Lock Screen as Weather and more, but is also said if one turn off News and Interests, then old shape weather information will be shown on Lock Screen. That is a problem, I never turned on News and Interests, since it has information I have no interest in and there is no weather detailed information on Lock Screen at all. I tried turn on News and Interests, then I have new shaped weather information banner on Lock Screen, but when I turn off News and Interests, there is no weather information on Lock screen.

If someone has some idea how to solve this one, meaning I would like to have turned off News and Interests and old style weather information on Lock Screen, I would be grateful to know.

Open Settings.
Navigate to Personalization.
Click on Lock screen.
Under Lock screen status,
select Weather and more to display detailed weather information on the Lock Screen.

Thank you for your reply. It has always been set up here like you showed in pictures. I never changed it, Personalize/Lock Screen/Weather in detailed information. It stopped working with this update. If I turn On News and Interests, it shows weather banner different than before (with gray transparent box), if you turn Off News and Interests, there is no weather information at all on Lock Screen. That is new behavior after this update. I know how to reset Lock Screen manually deleting settings.dat file on AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Windows.ContentDeliveryManager_cw5n1h2txyewy folder and all files in Assets folder, it did not help.

Check if the weather app is still working and see if the app is running in the background: Settings > Privacy > Background Apps.
I'm not sure what else to suggest that may fix it. You could try manually uninstalling and reinstalling the weather app.

As a last option, you could repair install Windows 10 with an in-place upgrade.
At the “Ready to Install” screen, ensure the Keep personal files and Apps option is selected, then click Install

Remember to back up your important data before proceeding with any repairs or reinstalls
Reinstalling Windows may lead to data loss if not done carefully.

I tried that, but no result. Reinstalled Weather app, reset it, chose exact location by myself, it works as app in Background, but there is no weather information on Lock Screen. It just stopped by itself. I sent Feedback to Microsoft, we shall see.

The funny thing is that I can have weather information on Lock Screen if I Turn on News and Interests in TaskBar settings, it shows as some grey transparent box, probably some new style. If I turn Off News and Interests then I have no weather information on Lock Screen. Who knows why. Anyway, thank you for your advises, I appreciate it. If you have some more, I would be glad to try.
