    Hello ronafin,

Reinstalling the NVIDIA graphics driver below should restore it.

    About the Nvidia Control Panel

Is this bug ronafin reported an isolated incident, or has anyone else had it?

Please report, especially if you have desktop GPUs and you're using the DCH drivers from Windows Update. I can't help but to think that this is a part of Microsoft's untiring attempts to force people to create Microsoft accounts, so that they can re-install the CPL from Store. I don't know if it's possible to install software from Store without an account anymore. In the past you could still download despite the nagging popup, but I'm sure microsoft will see to "patching" that soon enough if they haven't already.

Is this hearsay or personal, recent experience?

I could just check myself, but I'd rather not download some random free programs just to test this. There are things like official Microsoft desktop themes there, but you know.

Yes! Recent experience. And I've just installed a free app just to check.

i think its an isolated incident.
I had the NVIDIA cpl installed via Microsoft store ( not via the install from NVIDIA drivers )
    Its back now.

A new bug after this update

Detailed here: StartMenuExperienceHost.exe stopped working ...

Check your reliability histories, people. This applies to you if you use the startmenu or taskbar items like wifi options or calendar.

On another note, my Nvidia Control Panel wasn't violated by this update.
