Excel

• Create richer analyses and summaries with PivotTables and data types: PivotTables in Excel now support data types. Instead of just strings, bring data types such as images in cells to your PivotTable rows and columns, or use related properties from linked data types such as Stocks and Geography directly from the PivotTable pane.

OneNote

• Preview of New Sticky Notes app on Windows available from OneNote app: The new Sticky Notes app allows you to create and recall notes like the classic Microsoft Sticky Notes app, while making it easier to capture screenshots, automatically add the source information to the notes, and more. Excel

• We fixed an issue where the app closed unexpectedly when the user would attempt to open or import large text files.
• We fixed an issue that caused errors when attempting to save files in environments where Default Labeling and Mandatory Labeling policies are configured and AIP document co-authoring is disabled.
• We fixed an issue where an Excel file was no longer able to be saved due to file corruption with conditional formatting.
• We fixed an issue where the input language of a keyboard converted from Chinese Traditional to English, an error appeared, and the app closed unexpectedly when the name of an Excel sheet was edited.
• We fixed an issue where the app's response is delayed when the user first edits a formula in a cell.
• We fixed an issue where attempting to programmatically set the Formula property on a Linked Picture resulted in a run-time error.
• We fixed an issue where the app did not paste cells as merged when they are merged in the copy source.
• We fixed an issue where the app's response is delayed when the user first edits a formula in a cell.

OneNote

• We fixed an issue where, after switching from an ODM notebook to an ODP notebook with the notebooks pane pinned, the Math Assistant continued to appear in the Draw tab and prompted an error.

Outlook

• We fixed an issue with user and shared mailboxes where a message sent from a user with saved to Sent Items folder enabled and where DelegateSentItemsStyle is set to 1 is saved in the shared mailbox Sent Items folder.
• We fixed an issue where Office add-ins disappeared from the ribbon.
• We fixed an issue that affected all-day meetings with a reminder on the day of. The meeting did not open, and an error message was displayed.
• We fixed an issue that caused the following symptoms:

1. Users were unable to recall a message in some environments.
2. Users were unable to address synchronization conflicts.
3. Users were unable to load forms from third party MAPI forms servers.

• We fixed an issue that caused some Webview-based addins to encounter authentication errors that caused them to be unable to be loaded in the task pane.
• We fixed an issue that caused Outlook to exit unexpectedly when attaching an Outlook item from the Insert tab.

PowerPoint

• We fixed an issue where PowerPoint closed unexpectedly when a user tried to open a copy of a presentation saved to the cloud.
• We fixed an issue where PowerPoint (.pptx) files exported as .pdf truncated or omitted images.
• We fixed an issue in the PowerPoint presenter view where speaker notes from a previous slide would move to the current slide view if no speaker notes were available.
• We removed Organization Chart Add-In for Microsoft Office programs due to lack of sufficient Unicode support.

Project

• We fixed a performance issue with opening a Project MPP file with a high percentage difference in file size by shortening the interval of file compaction.
• We fixed an issue in projects saved to SharePoint document libraries where, on Save, a user's changes remained in their local cache after the file check in was complete. If the file was then immediately checked out, updated, and checked back in by a different user, the first user experienced possible data loss.

Word

• We fixed an issue where certain Word documents would not open in compatibility mode.
• We fixed an issue that prevented users from receiving emails created using Mail Merge.
• We fixed an issue where completing Proofing with an Office Add-in's side pane open would result in the add-in's pane being closed.
• We fixed an issue where characters became invisible when converted to Kanji.
• We fixed an issue where styles changed or were applied incorrectly when transitioning to WPM.
• We fixed an issue where the Word template (normal.dotm) was overwritten upon exit when the proofing language was set to Japanese.
• We fixed an issue where certain Word documents would give error "Word experienced an error trying to open the file." on open.
• We removed Organization Chart Add-In for Microsoft Office programs due to lack of sufficient Unicode support.
• We fixed an issue where pasting a list with a custom style into a document that was saved to the cloud with restricted formatting would show an "AutoSave Failed" error.
• We updated OLE linking to better match the OS Unicode support.

Office Suite

• We fixed an issue where the app wouldn't re-install when the device was offline, and the re-install was from a local install source.
• We fixed an issue where a mandatory sensitivity label was not applied or prompted for if an email was sent from the Drafts-folder.
• We fixed an issue where the app closed unexpectedly when a user switched Excel from an account where preview was started or enabled to an account where no preview had been started or enabled.
• We fixed an issue where the user was notified of an Alt-text violation after adding and deleting an image.
