That’s now created it, no Winre.wim R:\Recovery\WindowsRE. Also though I have a old MS media USB cant find it on that either. KB5034441 Now comes up as install but fails.

Would copy from another W10 laptop or Desk work? The desk has been updated and the other laptop I know has a recovery partition on it but as yet not updated just stopped updates on it. Is so would MiniTool do I from a USB stick?
    The WinRE.wim should be here:
    C:\Windows\System32\Recovery

You need 7z to make it convenient.
    On your desktop run
    cmd(admin)
    reagentc /disable
this command copies the WinRE.wim to C:\Windows\System32\Recovery
From there you can copy it to "downloads"
    When copied, run
    reagentc /enable
Then you have to copy the updated WinRE.wim to the machines to be updated. Use the "Download" folder.
Now you need 7z and run it as Administrator. It allows you to copy the WinRE.wim to the
    C:\Windows\System32\Recovery Folder

You delete the old WinRE.wim first.

You can check the updated WinRe.wim on your desktop first:
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion]
    It should be "WinREVersion"="10.0.19041.3920"

Used MiniTool Partition Wizard to shrink the main partition by the 250MB suggested by Microsoft, then extended the recovery partition; KB5034441 Security Update then went through (after a reboot).

Now using 479MB (of 786MB), which might explain why the original 530MB was a bit tight.

Thank you. Seems like in Home Edition is missing. Sorry, I accidentally deleted my post.

Might want to make it a little larger to avoid potential future shenanigans! Glad people are getting it resolved though.

What is left now is to deal with the "self-reinstalling" status since it shows everytime when I check for updates.

My Windows 11 machine recovery partition is at 757MB, so I reckoned 786MB should be enough.
