Unfortunatelly, I am too lazy to install fresh OS from newer ISO only for check this, because I did fresh install in October 29, I had one bootable ISO on pendrive, but I am sure that it was not the newest version available in October 2023.
You should be happy that it was successfull - without doing anything that should be done by professional programmers. Every successfull update of M$ products is a reason to celebrate. I'm just angry that Windows update is problematic again, and if someone is not an advanced user like people from this forum, they may not be able to handle it and spend money on servicing or something like that. And in these times, every money you save is worth its weight in gold.
so for a person who doesn't have bit locker on computer and his older brother who gave him new hard drive because old failed long time ago and doesn't even know have recovery partitional doesn't even want to come online try it in fear might mess up computer
my only option is ignore hopefully ms will update or remove it in a few weeks or hide update ya thoughts?
If you are not sure that you can do this just not think about this update at this moment, and wait for solution from M$ (at this moment nobody knows when they will release it, they are sending now their article about increasing the size of Recovery partition, for every user who asked them about solution).
But if you know how to do it and are not afraid about doing fresh install if something will fail, you can repair it by yourself and forgot about stupid update that appears every time when you run WU.
Always is some risk - in everything that you do in your life, but if you don't risk, you can't drink champagne.

well i'm not a tech savvy man my brother is who basically controls all computers from his house to ours despite that i'm admin on computer he's the big computer man and i have no clue what to do so if he saids doesn't think i have a recovery partition on hard drive and yes i have seen another tool to do it and i did search there's no bit locker on computer
i guess just leave it alone surely microsoft will fixed it few days not a month or so or just completely remove it i did try to retry again yesterday nada There were some problems installing updates, but we'll try again later. If you keep seeing this and want to search the web or contact support for information, this may help: (0x80070643)
i give up for now i just dread seeing that error every time i open up windows 10 updates meh
I understand you and if you really are not sure that doing anything like that is for you, just don't think about it and normally use your PC. I was playing LoL this day when updates came out, i was watching Netflix and doing anything that i usually do on my PC. Other updates from this month has been normally installed, only this one are problematic, but i don't think that anything wrong will be with your computer without it. So play games, listen your favourites songs, watch Netflix or do anything else that you do daily on your PC. Just wait for M$ next move, maybe they will release solution this week, nobody knows that. Chance that something will broke in your OS after increase of Recovery partition is really low if you do it like has been described on this thread, but always is some risk.
For me it was first time too. Last time, when i had to do anything with my partitions was the day when i was installing my OS. But for me that was really frustrating when i tried to install this update again and again, and everything that I did doesn't work. So i decided to risk and now i forgot that i did that.
@Emer
step by step copy & paste
watch the system response after each step
reagentc /disable
diskpart
sel disk 0
sel part 5
delete partition override
create partition primary
format quick fs=ntfs label="Recovery"
set id="de94bba4-06d1-4d40-a16a-bfd50179d6ac"
gpt attributes =0x8000000000000001
exit
reagentc /enable
You are ready
reagentc /info
Run your Windows Update again
run
reagentc /boottore
and start a normal reboot to check the new Recovery Environment
Unless you enjoy doing it the hard way, just use MiniTool Partition Wizard Free. Nothing to disable and enable.
If the main partition is adjacent to the Recovery Partition, then it's simple. Shrink the main partition to how much you want, then extend the Recovery Partition into the free space. Don't forget to change it from GB to MB to make it easier for you.
KB5034441 Security Update for Windows 10 (21H2 and 22H2) - Jan. 9
As I and others have said, you can simply hide the update.
Tutorial available or use e.g. WUmgr (easy, free).
This is a really good and thoughtful video about this problem:
