    With last Thursday's update, a new shortcut or program appeared called, "Connection to remote desktop".
    I don't know if this happened to anyone else, or why M$ decided to include this in Windows 10 Home (19045.3636).

    I do not know if mine is related to yours but, as you can see below it is located at ProgramData since 2019 (last Created/Modified date):-

    A guess suggests it's the same as this, as in the Control Panel: (bottom right)

    (I choose not to receive Preview updates in Group Policy, so can't compare)

    Mine doesn't appear in the start menu. The program is located in the System32 folder.

    Sorry for the confusion, that was for the shortcut!

    The application itself it's located at Windows\System32 and it has another shortcut at Start menu as follow:-

    Great, I didn't know and wasn't even finding the shortcut in the start menu. The date of the shortcut coincides with yours, without a doubt. Just compare the image, but I work like the Home version.
