I installed the 20H2 one despite having Windows 10 22H2. Not that it matters, as upon trying the 22H2 one, windows said that it's already installed, so they seem like the same thing. It looks like it's just there, Windows can have less difficulty knowing which updates to locate and pick as relevant.

    Hello @desbest,

With those shown, the first one is 20H2, and the second one is 22H2. There must be some distinct difference within the file itself.
    there is no difference, Paul

they link to the same MSU file, desbest & Paul Black

it's the "listing" on the MS catalog site that makes it somewhat confusing

also KB5019180 is not the only update out there as MS also posted other similar updates like KB5019181 for v1809, KB5019182 for v1607 & KB5019179 for v1507 as well

ALL of them (including KB5019180) update the mcupdate_GenuineIntel.dll file.
of course, these patches have no effect on AMD based CPUs

I was uninstalling the Feb. B cycle updates and this update installed itself during the uninstall process. WU was paused until April also.
