It will create more work for me with a client, it will affect her QuickBooks as QB needs IE, maybe Intuit's browser will work.
Update:
The retired, out-of-support Internet Explorer 11 desktop application has been permanently disabled through a Microsoft Edge update on certain versions of Windows 10.
IE11 visual references, such as the IE11 icons on the Start Menu and taskbar, will be removed by the June 2023 Windows security update (“B” release) scheduled for June 13, 2023.
As previously announced, the out-of-support Internet Explorer 11 (IE11) desktop application will be permanently disabled on certain versions of Windows 10 starting today, February 14, 2023. Devices that have not already been redirected from IE11 to Microsoft Edge will be redirected with today’s Microsoft Edge update. As is usual, this update will be rolled out over the span of a few days up to a week via Microsoft Edge’s progressive rollout.
As a reminder, IE11 has been out of support since June 15, 2022. Organizations that have already transitioned from IE11 to Microsoft Edge with IE mode will not be impacted by the disablement. Organizations that have not transitioned to Microsoft Edge with IE mode may face immediate business disruption. If you do experience any issues accessing an IE-based site after IE11 permanent disablement, you can add the missed site to your IE mode list to quickly fix the issue. If the issue persists, open a support ticket.
Removal of IE11 visual references, such as the IE11 icons on the Start Menu and taskbar, will begin after with the May non-security preview release, currently scheduled for May 23, 2023, and will be included in all subsequent Windows updates. For complete details, see the Internet Explorer 11 desktop app retirement FAQ.

For me with the new Edge update that arrived a little while ago (110.0.1587.46) IE was not disabled....Very strange.
Microsoft being Microsoft?
If you do a search for IE 11 on Windows the reference to it still comes up but if you click on it , it redirects to Edge. So partially, but not completely deleted .... yet
In fact, when I put a site like "google.com" , "bing.com" , "msn.com" or any other, when I write it in the address bar of IE, I'm immediately redirected to Edge.
My admiration was when opening an .xml file, which is still opened in IE.
it will not happen right away, JPSilva
maybe with either upcoming Edge 111 update
um Brink, on the techcommunity.microsoft.com link, it reads:Removal of IE11 visual references, such as the IE11 icons on the Start Menu and taskbar, will begin after with the May non-security preview release, currently scheduled for May 23, 2023,

As previously announced, the out-of-support Internet Explorer 11 (IE11) desktop application will be permanently disabled on certain versions of Windows. Most users have migrated to Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome. Some users set the Chrome browser to restart the interrupted download with free extensions. Devices that have not already been redirected from IE11 to Microsoft Edge will be redirected with today’s Microsoft Edge update.
To block the Google Meet on a network, follow this: How to Stop google Meet on a PC? We can do this work on Microsoft Edge and other browsers.
I was not even aware of the presence of IE on my laptop. Whatever I do, only Edge pop-outs.
