Some people are running around acting like the world is going to end for people running Windows 10 after Oct. 14, 2025. After that date Windows 10 will still run fine. The lack or new security updates after that date is unfortunate but most people won't care.
In Nov 2021 I upgraded my main desktop so it was fully compatible with Windows 11. I then upgraded it from Windows 10 Pro to Windows 11 Pro. After 10 days I decided to roll it back to Windows 10 Pro.
In Nov 2022 I bought a new laptop with Windows 11 Home. I decided to get used to Windows 11 by simply digging in and learning to use it. I am glad I did. I still like Windows 10 better but have accepted Windows 11. I have subsequently upgraded it to Windows 11 Pro.
Last month based upon my acceptance of Windows 11 on my laptop I decided to upgrade my main desktop to Windows 11 Pro again. This time I won't go back to Windows 10 Pro again.
I have several other computers with Windows 10 on them. None of them are compatible with Windows 11. Even though I can bypass the requirements for Windows 11, I probably won't upgrade any of them to Windows 11.
