Microsoft will stop selling Windows 10 on January 31, 2023

I have to say this...
Windows 11 is so close to Windows 10, that it's a no brainer, at least for me.
Yes, there are differences in the start Menu and some other things but that can be controlled for free.
All of my internal systems have been migrated to Windows 11, with no ill effect.
Some functional elements of the GUI are a bit off, IMHO, but I can easily live with it.
FWIW.

Installed Windows 11 on Oracles VirtualBox
I installed Windows 11 on the free Oracles VirtualBox even though my cpu is not supported and I do not have a TPM module installed. "This PC" and the "Start Menu and File Explorer are different. The right click on the desktop is annoying as you have to click on "Show More Options" to see what you see on all the past version of Windows like Copy, Paste etc.
The free Winaero Tweaker can fix a few of these annoyances.
I installed a copy of Windows 10 that I had a license for then upgraded to Windows 11.
You will have 2 licenses tied to that pc. One for 10 and one for 11
I suggest buying a copy or two of Windows 10 for future. Buy at Ebay.
You can always transfer a license over to a new pc.
The changes are certainly not worth the cost a of brand new computer!!
I recently bought two used HP z240 SFF (small form factor) computers with Windows 10 at Amazon.
The first one cost just a total of $17.24 due to credits from my Amazon card and shipped to a relative of mine : )
The second was a total of $130 delivered to me. Mine shows it was built in 2018 and it has TPM but it is disabled in the BIOS. I am leaving it disabled as I do not want Windows 10 to upgrade to 11 as I do not want to fight a new OS. Windows 10 was bad enough to get it setup the way I want. The pc is fast. No issues.
A review of the HP z240 from 2016 said it was a suggested $3,200 pc!! Other later date reviews said $1,200
Why spend big bucks when you do not need to?
My 2015 desktop pc: Gigabyte Technology Co. Ltd. that I have Windows 10 on and in VirtualBox Windows 11

Just think, when they release 12 you'll buy it and withen a month you won't be able to and then unlucky 13 rolls around.

I'm not worried about it. And this is nothing new. Besides I don't see ISO's drying up in the near future.
As for updates and support, yeah, that's coming to an end. But if you wish to continue running 10, that's the price.
Anyway, I'm still running Windows 10 on my laptop (not supported - ran it). My main rig (supported) is running 11.

I stopped using Windows 7 a long time ago so this decision by MS isn't important to me.
I do think that MS probably thought that continuing to sell software that they no longer support wasn't a great idea. Full support for Windows 7 ended in January 2020.
It is still possible to buy W7 online.

Firefox and Chrome and Vivaldi no longer will support Windows 7
Web browsers like Firefox and Chrome and Vivaldi no longer will support Windows 7 as of February 2023.
You will get a popup to that effect if you do a new install on Windows 7.

I did a win 7 installation 3 days ago. Firefox installed fine with no complaints. mse works as it should and updates every day, at least up till now.

Firefox will support Windows 7/8 until at least 2024
Initially it was jan 2023 then Feb 2023 for the cutoff. Now extended.
Vivaldia and Chrome will warn you of their cutoff during the install as I have seen it on Windows 7 (virtualbox) I recently installed.
