    Hello,

the Monday before this "Patch Tuesday", I ran an "sfc /scannow", and there was no integrity violation. On Tuesday, the installation of all these updates are done, I ran a "sfc /scannow", and then, Windows found some corrupted files and fixed them.
The next day, I launched an application, and I got an error code "0xc0000022", I tried to repair the Microsoft Visual C++ 2013, it didn't change anything. So, I uninstalled the Visual C++ 2013, and installed the ones downloaded from Microsoft, and then the application can be launched.
And then on Thursday, during a session, File Explorer didn't respond anymore, followed by the Taskbar, the right-click on the Desktop didn't work anymore, the combination ctrl + alt + Delete didn't respond, and all of a sudden a black screen!
I had to do a forced shutdown of the system, and then restart it, and since then, everything seems to be fine.
    This update is buggy!

Is this anything to do with blue screen after running DISM cleanup? Because I had that problem since last month update so I don't run it anymore.

The notes below don't mention anything related to DISM cleanup.

This always happens. I have a problem with something crashing or not working right and I am the only person with that problem. Something that is common and I don't have any issues with that problem.

System Tray Problems After 14 December 2022 Windows Update

I don't know if this is the right place to post this so Mods please move if I'm posting in the wrong place.

I'm relatively new to Windows 10. I installed it from the Windows 10 Pro. 22H2 x64 ISO. Currently after the recent update which occurred on my system on 14 December 2022 I have this Windows version: 22H2 (OS Build 19045.2364) which I think this is what this thread is about (and problems with that update).

After that update I find the following issues on my system:

    1. A small program I use, HotSwap! 6.3.0.0, no longer detects USB external drives (HDD or Flash) when they are plugged into a USB port. The interface for this program is put to the System Tray.

    2. My KeePass Password Safe 2.52 doesn't always show up in the System Tray even though Task Manager shows it as a running process.

    3. My Network Activity Indicator 1.8 (64-bit) doesn't always show up in the System Tray even though Task Manager shows it as a running process.

All of these little programs worked well and flawlessly on my Windows 7 Pro. X64 and have done so on this Windows 10 system until I got the 14 December Update. But now there seems to be some problem with System Tray management and programs putting icons into the System Tray after this Windows Update was done.

    @LastUnicorn

Have you tried: Change Compatibility Mode Settings for Apps in Windows 10

As the tut reads you should check the developers sites to see if you can find an updated version of the three programs you list.

When I checked (thx for the links), #'s1 and 3 threw the FF "not a https site" #2 was okay but I couldn't find a version higher than 2.52 so all three are getting a bit long in the tooth.
