KB5015878 Windows 10 19042.1865, 19043.1865, 19044.1865 Win Update

    Only today I'm installing this one (out of grid) and it never showed up on WU had to download MSU file.

    have you tried installing the KB5015878 update to see if your printing problems thru usb ports is fixed?

    well the KB5015878 update did show up thru WU on my father's Toshiba laptop running Win10 Home edition 21H2 as an "optional" update near end of July 2022 - did not automatically download & installed thru WU (I have set all my internet connections to "metered")

    well the KB5015878 update did show up thru WU on my father's Toshiba laptop running Win10 Home edition 21H2 as an "optional" update near end of July 2022 - did not automatically download & installed thru WU (I have set all my internet connections to "metered")
    Not even in Optional Updates.

    If you to to the KB5015878 first page here, and read the Known Issues, the Printer/USB problem still exists with this recent update.

    Read this.....and it hasn't been updated since 7/22.

    as of 8/9, Microsoft claims to have "fixed" or resolved the Printer/USB problems with the KB5016616 update

    Printing to USB-connected printers might fail
    Updates released after June 28 might cause printing to fail on previously-connected USB printers
