Downloaded ISO....Installed on separate SSD.....toggled through All Apps in start menu and loaded all required start screen Apps before minimising them.....Initial thoughts.....as many apps instantly available as required.

Up to now no problems encountered with drivers.....As someone who likes W8.1....have been pleasantly surprised with this new concept....congratulations are due to Microsoft.

OK so as I now end up in the Technet evaluation center I downloaded 9841.0.140912-1613.FBL_RELEASE_CLIENTENTERPRISE_VOL_X64FRE_EN-US.ISO
and this has Windows to go.

Yup, there is an Enterprise version that has WTG and a non enterprise version that doesn't have it.

Just download x86 & x64 and burned to DVD with ImgBurn.

I got a truckload of Bare Bones parts yesterday from NewEgg & TigerDirect to build two new Win10 boxes for testing

I hope I can find some spare time this weekend

Won't install on my desktop PC. It's regular BIOS, no UEFI.
I suspected this might be the case with Windows 10. You might try the 32 bit version, it may still work with BIOS.

I should note, that probably means "with or without UEFI partitions", I don't know if that's been tested on a non UEFI firmware machine.

Well, it may just be an incompatibility with an older BIOS then...

    Hi there

No UEFI problems - works on both UEFI and non UEFI machines.

    Cheers

I'm going to do some more testing latter on tonight. My other desktop PC doesn't have a keyboard connected at the moment, I use it for a media PC with just a wireless track pad. It has very similar hardware to the desktop PC I'm having the install issue on. My back pain is getting in the way though so I have to go lay down for a while. I'll post back with the results when I'm done.
