    Edit I now have the normal Windows 7 "Configuring updates screen" at about 80%
    Yet to see any new OS.

    OK I'm in. Still IE 11 I see (which I actually like)
    So far, a lot like 8.1, but I like that a Metro calculator fits in a window. I was hoping that the Metro Mail app could be used without a Microsoft account. No go; oh well.

    I notice the "All Apps" start menu mixes Metro and Explorer apps together, as if not to make a distinction of it.

    Oh God... I was half way through downloading 3.8GB x64 ISO when my internet connection reset (does it once every 24h) - completely forgot about it! Now I have to download everything from scratch, dear Lord... and I'm on 4Mbit/s, so that's another 3h instead of 1,5h

    Yeah, VirtualBox... unsurprisingly the guest additions don't work so it's a little jump in the VM... just setting the laptop up now
