    Yes.
    Microsoft has been releasing these "preview" updates towards the end of the month before they release it on the following Microsoft Tuesday. Like this one, which came out on November 22nd.

    Windows 11 is an "optional" upgrade. Windows 10 will be supported until 2025.
    So you can pretty much just ignore the banner until you are ready to upgrade to Windows 11.

    Also, to make life easier, the owner(s) of Ten Forums have already created Eleven Forum for your viewing pleasure. So you can "skip ahead" in your reading.

    I'm not able to upgrade to 11, my pre Vista Laptop is not supported. See no reason to buy another laptop as long as this one handles my current needs.

    I'm on 21H1 19043.1387, so will this update convert it to 21H2? Is it safe or better wait for Windows Update to offer it?

    This update just installed again after already installing on 11/22. The 11/22 install was removed from the history and the new install is listed as 12/13.
