Ok , did not sign up , installed the msi only .
So , Im on 21H2 , without being an insider..........

btw, wonder why it takes so long to get the official 21H2 ...........we are almost in 22H1 !

Upgraded successfully from 21H1 b19043.1288.
The install was straight forward.
Will report back if any issues crop up.

Whenever one is doing something in Windows that needs to be part of the Insider Program, MS will throw a message asking one to join the program first. The post # 77 by @davidhk is also a good way to find out.

21H2 is not GA yet, on 11/11/2021 still only for insiders.
It is available as optional update in insider Release Preview channel.
Also when in R.P. channel you get the new MS Store version which is the same used in Windows 11.
It is easy to back out of insider from R.P. after the updates are done.

Beats me. Foot dragging? It's apparently ready. I've had it for weeks now. The last CU dutifully updated it via WU just as it did 21H1.

No issues so far Just installed):

I can't update to this version, always getting error 0x800f0988. already tried /componentcleanup, wu reset, built-in troubleshoot, even installing .msi file to no avail. any suggestion?

I'm currently on build 19044.1320 (21H2)
