As we wind down the year, the Skype team is working hard to deliver improvements to your Skype User Experience.

The latest Insider build 8.79 was fully released and this is what we were working on.

What’s new?
Modernized Search and Filter: As part of our UI modernization efforts, we have made changes to the placement and design of the search input (with no text inside) and the filtering button for the Chats and Contacts tab, on iOS and Android
Feedback button at the top left: For you to easily report a problem while on the Chats tab, on iOS and Android
UI performance improvements: on iOS and Android

Bug fixes and stability improvements
Please let us know what you think about the latest changes, either here in the community or through the Skype app. And you can always go to Skype’s User Voice to submit and vote for new features and ideas.
