Me too. That's because it's a download from an insecure http server, not https.

    http://download.windowsupdate.com/....

But click on the download notice to see more details and Firefox will let you choose to download it anyway.

I saw that, but it just seems strange. Out of all the iffy things I have downloaded... I've never seen that.

I just posted this, in case anyone else sees it and wonders.

This security check was only added to Firefox in version 93, so you may have got away with it before

Nothing to do with Brink, he has no option but to give the official MS link. It's MS who aren't using HTTPS on their download servers!

Edit: actually that's not quite true. They do use https too - they just don't use a valid certificate.
If you edit the link to use https you get this....

A while ago I got it from "Optional Updates" while checking for Updates. Everything went fine.

Successful install on 2 of 3 computers. On the 3rd had to do a repair install which only took it to 1288, to get to 1306 I had to check for updates and install the latest update. Now at 1320. In the past the repair install has taken the system to the latest version, but not this time. I have had to to do a repair install on 1 of the 3 computers on the last 2 updates (different computer each time).

Now at 19043.1320 on all 3.

That is normal. A repair install (or a clean install that checks for updates) takes it to the latest mandatory update. Currently that's the one from 'Patch Tuesday', 1288. It will never install a newer update that has been marked as an optional 'Preview' update, as 1320 is.
