If you posted those issues somewhere, please share the link. Thanks
no I haven't posted anywhere yet about the missing fixes...

    • upon updating my Nvidia display driver install, the start-menu becomes non-responsive. (MS claimed to have fixed it lol). (killing the START menu process forces it to restart as a workaround.. or restarting the PC)
    • Power & Sleep settings, screen settings do not work, screen does not go on standby
    • various other issue I have been having..

That is normal. A repair install (or a clean install that checks for updates) takes it to the latest mandatory update. Currently that's the one from 'Patch Tuesday', 1288. It will never install a newer update that has been marked as an optional 'Preview' update, as 1320 is.
Thanks for the info. I didn't notice or know the difference. I have always installed these updates when they show up and this the first time I did not get latest version when I had to do a repair install. Good info to know.

If the first two are related to updating the Nvidia display driver, maybe you can try rolling back to the previous driver version from Device Manager. I have an older Nvidia card and fortunately not experiencing any of this.

Feel free to create a new thread and post a link here to it if you'd like assistance trying to resolve these issues.

nope downgrading didn't help in the past... it happens every single update for Nvidia drivers I have installed since installing Windows 10 Pro last year...

here is the link to my new post on the matter..

Downloaded ok, installed ok, only noticeable difference was the Meet Now button which I quickly took care of in gpedit.

Run sfc /scannow again and this time its fixed the problems.

Currently on 21H2 1288. No WU for 1320 so far but did get one for .NET, go figure.
