I doubt anybody will notice any real difference between 21H2 and 21H1. There's certainly nothing that will reach out and grab anybody. Each CU that 21H2 beta got has shown the 20H1 label (19041) on the rollup fix folder in Windows\servicing\LCU, just as 20H2 and 21H1 have. Since the same CUs work for that entire range of builds, I can't believe there's much difference among them.

So we can expect 21H2 to be released on Nov 9?

It says right at the beginning of this thread that Win10 build 1288 is the release version -- and that was released a month ago.

So basically, it is already out there.

What's out there now is not the official release version of Windows 10 21H2.

Some people have taken the release preview Enablement KB for 21H2 and applied it to their release version to create a Franken-21H2.

It said "We believe that Build 19044.1288 is the final build for the November 2021 Update, and the ISO for this build can be downloaded here. We will continue to improve the overall experience of the November 2021 Update on customers’ PCs through our usual servicing cadence."

As in the past MS will use CU's to improve current Windows 10 builds and then when 21H2 is ready they will issue the Enablement Packet to move to build 19044.xxxx and I am guessing it will be higher build then the current 19044.1288. We should know more this Tuesday.

The latest Preview is up to 190xx.1320.

Hello Eric and welcome to tenforums ,

Yes, the ISO will be available when 21H2 is released in November. Downloading via MCT and other means like uupdump.ml should support network recovery. Your signature says that you already have 21H2 - if yes, how do you like it so far?
When I try to visit the https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/soft...load/windows10 link I only get this Windows 10 May 2021 Update option to download. I click on Update now and it downloads Windows10Upgrade9252.exe which tells me that I have the latest windows although my version of windows is Windows 21H1 (OS Build 19043.1320)

Also if I try the other method that is "Create Windows 10 installation media" it downloads MediaCreationTool21H1 instead of MediaCreationTool21H2

    Sorry, I don't understand.

MS has already released this ISO and the Enablement Package has been out there for a while as well.

So, how are these NOT releasing this build to the general public?
