    One of my computers had a failed installation of KB5006670.
    What do you need to do to fix it?
    I have just finished restoring an image and am waiting to see what to do about it.

    Installed with no problem on 2 systems, but hung at Downloading 100% on the 3rd. A simple reboot was all it took to complete the install.

    What are the Enablement Packages for?
    Are they a prerequisite for installing KB5006670?

    No, they are not required. As it says "The KB5003791 Enablement Package allows you to go from 2004, 20H1, or 21H1 to 19044 (v21H2)."

    So if I currently have 2004, for example, and install the KB5003791, it will quickly switch me to 21H2.

    @Brink, shouldn't OP line about KB5003791 read "go from 2004, 20H2, ........" (2004 = 20H1 and 20H2 is missing)

    No, MS said they would not guarantee updates in future to noncompliant systems, not that they wouldn't get any. They could stop updating noncompliant systems any time. For all we know, this could just be a one-time update just to get the initial CU out there.

    Dany,

    That's a Windows 11 CU not a Windows 10 one.
