I joined the Windows Insider club today and Windows-11 downloaded/installed on my laptop.

The menus and OS in general are more pleasing visually than Windows 10.

But other than a higher use of RAM 28% for Win-11 vs 24% for Win-10, I don't see much difference. That's not a BAD thing, mind you.

Laptop is installing it now and if I"m satisfied with how it runs I'll do the desktop in the near future. My poor little atom powered laptop isn't supported so its been a good run.

Bit the bullet and installed it tonight. All good so far, just getting used to the new UI but it seems much faster, slicker than Win 10. Took about 45 minutes on an NVMe gen 4 drive

Hi guys. I am wanting to upgrade to Windows 11, and my laptop meets the requirements. I read on this link about installing early:
How to get the free Windows 11 upgrade early - The Verge.
Thing is, I believe that is for an upgrade, and not a clean install. Do you guys recommend that I just do the upgrade? If not, how do I do a clean install of W11? Thoughts and help appreciated :)

How anyone can get Windows 11 | Windows 11 Forum

For In-Place upgrade, skip step #8

For Clean Install, skip step #9 and everything below step #9
