The 1st post in this topic is about TWO things... a monthly update (KB5005565) and a Feature Update (the enablement package).
KB5005565 is the normal monthly update, and the enablement package is the 2nd Feature Update of 2021.

That is what 21H2 stands for. The Feature Update for the "second half", (H2) of 2021.
This is totally clear to me, Ghot. Just the word "insider" in front /see my last picture in post 78/ is confusing.

Yeah, I know. But I'm not and Insider either.

Ivan said, "As a matter of fact this has confused me:" and posted a copy of the post #1 header. That header was clear to some of us, but unfortunately not for others, and a lot of confusion arose.

Ivan, you are not alone. In another thread here, someone else just (this morning) asked, "21H2 is an insider-upgrade still ?"

I hope it's all getting clearer for you and everyone else now.

You only need to be an insider to get the enablement package offered via Windows Update. You can install it manually whether you are an insider or not.

    Windows update error

I can't update because it seems I'm missing packages... I looked into the CBS and I can't really figure out what they want. I also tried updating manually, however I click on the 'package' to download but it just won't download.

Probably, because windows update client is corrupt, I also can't do the dism /.... /restorehealth cmd. It gets stuck and then says that the source files are not found (because of windows update client being corrupt?).

What to do?? Does a factory reset work?

Better doing a repair install, you get to keep your data and programs. Repair Install Windows 10 with an In-place Upgrade

But please make a backup first. It is not without risk.

Hi Try3, sorry I don't get it - is this CU bringing you to 21H2 or the enablement package?
    Ivan,

    It was the Enablement package.

Because I was already on 21H2, and because there were contradictory posts in this thread about the applicability of this CU to Version 21H2, I checked that KB5005565 CU was listed in my WU results before proceeding.

Sometimes I have to right-click and choose "Copy link," then open a new tab in my browser and paste that link and go. It always works that way when just clicking the package link doesn't work for me.
