Old printers. Not network capable. Problematic logistics (printer not near router - YOU can do more cabling!)
The computers and printers in my man cave are connected via Ethernet cables. Anything elsewhere are on WiFi. If I have a laptop in the man cave, I usually use WiFi, but I have an Ethernet cable to do that, if nothing else to get the MAC address of the Ethernet adapter. Cell phones and guests use WiFi. No making problems here by demanding cables where WiFi makes better sense.

I haven't needed to solve the problem of sharing a printer that is connected by USB with another computer. If you have a home office that needs to do that regularly, then, of course, you need to put the printer on a computer that supports sharing well.

Yeah that's the thing: it always did work well for many years. Until this week. Surprise!
    And it's working well now.
    Just can't update Windows.....

Give it a couple of weeks, or even until next month's Update Tuesday, and see if the problem isn't fixed.

Just realized that one computer hasn't even been offered this update yet. WU checked just now too.

So seven computers, two with problems installing this KB and one not even being offered the monthly update. A friend suggested I disable WU and I am seriously considering it.

Those are the most common brands. I think that the problem is with the sharing.

I have two Epsons and one Canon -- and no problems with this update and any of these, and all three of these are networked.

Due to Hurricane IDA causing loss of electricity and internet, I finally got to update today. Took the normal amount of time to process. Ran SFC and DISM had no errors. So far all is good!

There is something wrong with this update. I am not facing any printers issue since I have no printer installed but I am getting random errors.

Ever since I have installed it I get random flickering of my screen although I have the latest graphics drivers installed for my 3080. These were not there before this update.

Also one more thing at random times the screens goes completely black for me and only the mouse curser can be seen and can be moved around the black screen I mean the Windows OS just completely vanishes. It does feels like a BSOD but the only difference is that instead of being blue like I previously said that instead of being blue and showing text with blue BDOS error screen (it is completely black and only the mouse curser is working) nothing else works not even ALT+CTRL+DEL.

Sadly when this occurs I have to maunally restart my pc to fix it. This happens atleast once a day on a daily basis since this update. Is anyone else facing this issues ???
