Windows 11 available on October 5

Just finish installing Windows 11 on my other incompatible platform. I was pleasantly surprise how easy it was.

Let's run Windows 11 on an incompatible hardware

here, I just ...
1) downloaded ISO W11 from Microsoft Official site, as expected.

2) with RUFUS, I did my pendrive with image, as expected... if you want install in phisical pc

3) in my VirtualBox VM, i did a vm W10 (dont have W11 ) with ISO W11 of course

4) in Setup (next... next) I used Shift+F10 to access Regedit as Admin and add the 3 key/words necessary to bypass TPM and OTHERS, as script founded on internet

5) it's ready! go ahead installation.

I7 4770k, 16gb, Asus Sabertooth Z87 motherboard ... all 2013/2014 + W11 2021

i not see any new updates

tomorrow we see if updates will works also on unsuported cpu

if tpm is enabled everything is ok i not try run without it
maybe is only nonsenes that on unsuported cpu you will get lots BSOD

updates works :)

I'm still waiting for my second pc to be offered the update, it is fully complient, still, only 7 days since the general offer of W11. That would leave 2 desktops and 1 laptop which will never be able to comply with the W11 spec, they are AM3+ and 6th gen i3.

I think I remember in the early Beta releases of Windows 11 Microsoft on purposely allowed people with supported and unsupported hardware to install it. They wanted to see what problems people would have. The results showed that people with unsupported hardware had more problems with Windows 11 than those with supported hardware. Microsoft has never said that Windows 11 would not run on unsupported hardware. They only said that they would not guarantee that future updates to Windows 11 would not break these installations on unsupported hardware. There is even a registry mod on Microsoft's website to allow a computer with unsupported hardware to have Windows 11 installed without complaint. Everyone is free to update their Windows 10 to Windows 11. Microsoft has made it clear that if you ignore their warnings they will not be responsible for any bad outcomes.

If an update is available, it will work safely on my PCs and I want it, the last thing I would ever do is wait for Microsoft to decide they were ready to offer it to me.
