Thinking about the reminder that your system is not yet compatible, it's on a page which I only see a couple of times a week, for a few minutes total, and I am a compulsive checker

Microsoft will have something else to use that space within a week or two, so although it can be annoying It should not be there for too long

In some ways I am (specially with no other choice), other laptop is on XP !!!! Still, the lure of "Newest and Greatest" is too strong with me. Force and assimilation, don't you know
Why is your other laptop still on Windows XP? I updated my old laptop that I bought in 2004 to Windows 7 years ago.

I tried but molasses was a swift flowing brook comparing to it's performance so it was XP or Linux.
