Yeah but that only states if they already have a driver for it and or if it's already active
x299 has tpm1.2 but I show no driver or it's active just look in bios so useless
x299 does have a bios update I assume to show tpp in bios whether it added tpm 2.0 or just shows it's tpm 1.2 I don't know I haven't flashed the newest bios.
skip tpm check and not need it
but every motherboard has tpm on bios settings.
i have h110 m-r and it has tpm 2.0 in bios

If someone is desperate to install 11 on incompatible hardware in that article:
"The Windows 11 setup program will no longer check for a TPM 2.0 security processor or compatible CPUs when added.
However, you will still require a TPM 1.2 security processor, which many will not likely have. If you are missing a TPM 1.2 processor, you can bypass all TPM checks by using this script that deletes appraiser.dll during setup."
