    " Just open up Windows update and clicked the X for this PC doesn't currently meet all the system requirements for Windows 11. That just put it over on the right hand side with the Looking for info and Related links etc.
    It would be nice if that would just go away. This PC will never meet those current requirements."............did you read my previous posts ?

    " for now we cant see if will work sec.updates every second Tuesday."..............will see next week !
    If all goes well , will try W11 ( after making some solid backups first !!)......

    My post was just a FYI post, I read most of the posts, might have missed one or two though, its 6AM here and I've only had one cup of java. Also being interrupted by the dog and cat wanting in and out and to be fed.
    It will become annoying if they just put that back every two weeks.

    Hi folks

    @dany007119966

    After installing updates via WU (from 3 posts back) Version is now not showing DEV but 21H2. The ISO I used was the actual download from the Ms site -- didn't use MCT or whatever as those seem to check validity of hardware before downloading.

    Guys, try this tool it can delete bloatware and set lots options to your Windows.
    Although GitHub is an excellent site [ I have used it for YEARS ], I would be VERY wary, unless you know what you are doing , or the implications associated with the changes, of using Third-Party Software. As Windows 11 is new, there will possibly be MANY MANY such methods appear over the coming months, and NOT ALL of them will have your best interest in mind [ Viruses, Spyware, Malware etc ].

    Just a friendly WARNING!

    I tried upgrading my desktop one more time after applying a new bios version and updated drivers and it still fails in the same place. I'm going to do a clean install soon, maybe tomorrow, if time permits.
