I tried w11 yesterday on my unsupported i7-5960x PC and it ran exactly the same as w10 or worse. IMHO w11 is rushed out and it's a bloated mess right now.

Agreed and I wish MS had waited until all the 'goodies' were available - like Android apps for example. And why the necessity for 4 clicks to get to something when with 10 it was say 2 is beyond me. Hence my thoughts is this is a sop to the hardware manufacturers before the festive season really gets under way.

For non fully W11 compliant systems it will just get worse. AMD chipset drivers for instance already refuse to install on non compliant Ryzen systems. Don't expect HW manufacturers to release new drivers for that far back.

A very good reason to wait ( a long time ) with "upgrading" ............from a good working Win10 !!

I don't have much to gripe about, it's already working better than W10.

Tried in VM , but removed it fast , contextmenu, etc , is a mess in 11 ..........muuuch better in my 10 ( tweaked the menu ).
Over all, dont see any reason for leaving my exellent working 10...............

I installed it on a non-compliant i7-7x and 11 worked fine. But, and it is a big BUT, I fail to see any reason to change to my main rig which is compliant. Now there may be hidden benefits but rounded corners, 4 clicks to get to something when 2 would do in 10, I'm in the wait and see brigade.

As far as speed, no difference but that's before I loaded up with programs. Just my ramblings

" 4 clicks to get to something when 2 would do in 10 "..............another big reason for staying on Win10 !
All these "clicks " , if two will do , are a waste of time.....

If you mean the right click menu, then that can be fixed using WinAero Tweaker.
