Did you get your 11 by signing up to Insiders? Or did you do as I did and install from a UUPDmp ISO? Only Insiders are being 'kicked out', my seriously non-compliant W11 machine (1st gen i5, Legacy/MBR) just got the CU for 22000.176.

That may or may not be possible. Without knowing the make, model and processor of your PC it's impossible to say. Only PCs built in the last two or three years are likely to meet all the Windows 11 requirements.

If your PC cannot upgrade to Windows 11, then all is not lost. Windows 10 is in support until 14 October 2025 and the next feature update, 21H2, is due to be released shortly.

Come the release date Microsoft will start offering the upgrade to W11 through Windows Update on compatible machines. The rollout will be phased so not all machines will see it offered on day one. From the link in post #1:

I wouldn't recommend installing an Insider build of W11 this close to release. I'd say wait until it's released, then maybe wait until it's offered to you.

That's the sensible approach.

I've been playing with the Insider builds (courtesy of UUPDump) for a while now on one of my machines. But come the release I'm going to wipe the machine its on, restore a W10 system image, then wait for the real thing to be offered in Windows Update. It's a fully compliant late 2020 laptop, so I don't expect I'll have to wait for long.
