Don't know if this is as a result of latest update but MS decided to check suitability of my new laptop to run Windows 11 and, unfortunately really bad news - it is totally compatible with Windows 11 which means I will get endless nagging to update to the truly awful Windows 11.

In my whole life, I have always regarded the next version of Windows to be better than the previous version, but not this new dumbed down pile of camel droppings.

I like it better than the previous Windows 10 combo of 19041, 19042---19044. I have had no problems with it. I even used it for a tad without Open Shell.

You should hope nagging is the most annoying thing you get. They tried to force 11 onto my Insider Beta PC that continued even after I changed the channel to Release Preview. The only way I could stop it was by turning off TPM. Seems they may be more determined to convert qualified machines to 11 than Google is to sneak Chrome past unwary Windows users.

I updated days and days ago. Didn't realize we were still tracking that here at TF as well as at 11F. My bad: all three machines updated without difficulty.
    Sigh.
