Quick update. SFC found corrupt files and fixed them. No other problem, so far...

I "killed" all automatic driver updates long time ago. I can take care of drivers myself just fine. Those drivers distributed thru Windows updates are most often outdated and inadequate.

I also do my own drivers. I have drivers blocked from auto installing as well.

This one had a weird name though. AMD - Security Devices - 5.17.0.0
Made me think it's either some ransomware patch, or maybe a TPM patch.
I have a full backup from late Monday, so I figured... wth.

That is the driver in Device Manager with the newest date. Mine says June 11 2021
    And the version is 5.17.0.0
I actually have quite a few 2021 drivers, starting back in March.

But this was a stand alone update. The others must have been included IN the Cumulative Updates, or in AMD chipset drivers.

I did go get two X570 chipset drivers from AMD.

Everything went smoothly. Usual stall at 74%, otherwise fine.

    SFC checked good initially.

DISM Analyze Component Store, found 1 Reclaimable package.

DISM Component Store Cleanup, cleared it right up.

But then, I ran SFC again, and it found corrupt files and repaired them. This has never happened before. Odd.

In the end, all is good, and running fine.

I enabled TPM and started getting Event 86 certificate errors. I can't tell if it's because of the update or not because I enabled and didn't check event viewer before update. Anyhoo, I disabled the AikCertEnrollTask task error gone until I can figure out what it is.

    Updated my 3 systems yesterday.
Ran SFC and Dism with no errors.
I skip Previews and wait until Update Tuesday for my updates.
    Works for me.
