    Hello @dorcom,

    A very good reliable 7 step solution is the nicely done CMD script file "ImageHealth".
    You can find it on the net or copy the script below and save it as a "ImageHealth.cmd" file.

    There is NO need to do the above, just goto this post by @Kyhi [ the Author ] and click on the link in Post #1 just AFTER . . .

    ************ These Batch Files Are Not Related To Win10XPE Project ************

    . . . HERE => Win10XPE - Build Your Own Rescue Media

    You can ALSO just click the . . .

    > Image Health -> SFC Scannow and Dism RestoreHealth To Repair Corrupt System Files

    . . . link in ANY of his posts signature.

    I hope this helps.

    Thanks to all of you for your quick responses - I could barely keep up!

    I'll start with the Tutorial, and then review the other recommendations to identify which actions would make sense in various situations.

    Thanks! Somehow I missed that one in my initial search. It looks like a great starting place!

    Thanks so much! It sounds like a good option for me.

    Honestly, Lourie,

    It's all you need to do.

    Not to say, that the other respondents are in any way, leading you astray. They each make valid points, and suggestions.

    It's simply not needed, at this time (for your situation/question).

    Best regards, to you and yours.

    I disagree. Imagehealth.cmd is a highly recommended script tool and also comes with added features including ISO downloads
