I can't see this update here in Australia?? I did find a new version 21H2 19044.1149 but am not sure it is the same?
I'm running this on my 4th gen (Haswell) Surface Pro 3, which WU identified as not ready/able to handle Windows 11. I'd planned on getting rid of this PC for that reason, but will keep it around so I can keep tabs on Windows 10 as it grinds through the rest of its lifecycle. The rest of my "fleet" will move up to Windows 11 as the Insider Preview gives way to production versions...
Thanks,

Yes, it is the same thing. The 21H2 will be common to 19043 and 19044. There already was a 19043/4.1147, and the .1149 on top of it yesterday.

KB5004296 Windows 10 Insider RP 19043.1149 (21H1) or 19044.1149 (21H2)
Me.. I tested the registry hack with the Beta.. but it keep getting back to Release Preview.. so I will wait for 21H2.
This update is now mandatory I see. So if I update to this will I still be able to revert back to any of my disk images from the previous version of Windows? (I'm using the free copy of Macrium)
I prefer to just stick with what I'm on, updates after updates tends to mean computer slowing down over time IMO
Not sure if I want to take the plunge with Windows 11 when it comes out.
