I got it on a beta flipped to RP too.
Maybe the Update doesn't like Yankees.

Far as I'm concerned, yes. Passes everything with flying colors and then some, but it's .000000001 mm shy of the "recommended" CPU, so MS says my $4K rig is a boat anchor. 🐂

I'm running this on my 4th gen (Haswell) Surface Pro 3, which WU identified as not ready/able to handle Windows 11. I'd planned on getting rid of this PC for that reason, but will keep it around so I can keep tabs on Windows 10 as it grinds through the rest of its lifecycle. The rest of my "fleet" will move up to Windows 11 as the Insider Preview gives way to production versions...
    Thanks,

Yes, it is the same thing. The 21H2 will be common to 19043 and 19044. There already was a 19043/4.1147, and the .1149 on top of it yesterday.

This update is now mandatory I see. So if I update to this will I still be able to revert back to any of my disk images from the previous version of Windows? (I'm using the free copy of Macrium)

I prefer to just stick with what I'm on, updates after updates tends to mean computer slowing down over time IMO

Not sure if I want to take the plunge with Windows 11 when it comes out.

You can go back using Macrium if you wish. While you remain in the Release Preview Channel Windows will update you to 21H2 again so if you wish to stay on 21H1 you need to come out of RP.

Well, support for 21H1 ends in December so hopefully no issues there. But good to know if there is I can revert back.
