No problems with installing this CU, but I hit a brick wall with cleanup after. The LCU folder wouldn't delete from within Windows, not even with Command Prompt run as administrator. Denied access. I had to reboot and delete it with Windows install media.

Yes, I found that too. They've tightened up the permissions, you first have to grant Administrators full control of each of the RollupFix folders in the LCU folder. By default Administrators only have read/execute, list, etc. permissions in W11, in W10 it was full control. You may also need to change the ownership of each package folder from SYSTEM to Administrators before you can change its permissions. It can be done though....

ooh joy leave it to Microsoft to screw things up a bit... lol :P
I will wait till I get the update notification next year..
by then I should have a TPM 2.0 module OR! the fTPM enabled in the BIOS...
plus I am weary of Secure Boot bricking my system...

All is good here, even the clock setup in CP. Major Geek has a reg tweak to set the taskbar on top of the screen. It works correctly and we must be precise at changing the value, because we may lose it.

Rick-click is a pot of gold now, but not always accurate. Seems busy now and then, but the new command bar in FE compensates.

The Russian ISO (dot51) was not working properly, this last one (dot65) appears to be perfect.

A+ for all the new designs,

Edit: One minor issue only: Calendar is reset to Simplified Chinese (Lunar) for no reason. Show additional calendars in the taskbar does not stay at <<Don't show additional calendars>>.

I was looking through the Optional Features panel to see if I could enable the Windows Widgets feature since it doesn't seem to be working for me and I see this. KB5004745 Windows 11 Insider Preview Dev Build 10.0.22000.65 - July 8-win-features.png I am pretty sure it is not supposed to look like this. Anyone else's looking like this?

Heads up #WindowsInsiders, those of you running Microsoft Edge Canary can preview Edge's new visual design on Windows 11 by enabling the "Enable Windows 11 Visual Updates" flag under edge://flags! Give feedback!

The Widgets are only available when you sign in with a Microsoft Account. Do you have one?

Yes, and I have been an insider since 2016 and the widgets panel doesn’t even open. I click on it and it plays the animation but nothing pops up or any disk activity happens.

I’m signed in with a local account (in a VM) and my widgets are available. Enabling Net Framework 3.5 fixed mine.

It's possible to use a Local account as long as you set it up to use your MS account across all apps, as Kari shows here:
