I could use VLC for mp4s but the game wont launch with the update. Its only Days Gone, other games work

Well, I tried every which way possible to install 1082 and 1083 on a dell latitude 6520 and I always get an error.
I tried to reset win update and install with MSU, still the same issue.

If MS is going to push an update, at least make it so it will install on all machines

I only use the default Windows Defender AV..
on my custom gaming rig... never had a problem installing Windows updates... for win 10.

Hi Melchior, Nope, this a clean install no AV, just defender. I created a new ISO with 1081 and installed.
I think this maybe part of another Known Issue Rollback (KIR)

Try creating an ISO from UUPdump, it may help.
I had a similar problem in the past and the ISO with the updates included did the job.

You mean launch an upgrade with a new 1083 iso?

Yeah, that's an idea but it sucks doing it on a fresh install that I just finished.
