Having already 'Disabled' in Group Editor, I too would have waited on the update.

But to my surprise, it auto downloaded on my PC, and was asking for a restart. This seems unusual, as I never 'seek out' previews or out-of-band updates. Totally confusing to me.

Fortunately, everything went quickly and uneventfully. SFC/DISM checked fine.

I install this and now my .mp4s wont play. And one of my steam games, Days Gone wont launch

All my computers -5 of them on RP are updated without problems.

You didn't download anything else at the same time did you? Just that everything works on the 2 PCs I've installed it on, all media files, printing, everything.

I notice on my main PC that there was a Servicing Stack update at the same time



Could you try uninstalling either or both of these updates?

No, sorry - I didn't actually try - I cannot uninstall the Servicing Stack update, but I can uninstall KB5004945.
I guess you tried that - not that I think it'll help.
Did Windows set a Restore Point prior to these updates? Even if it was a day or so ago?

I have been wanting to do a clean install anyway. Im back up, updates paused
