    Hello @Dave Win,

As the MS Tool has been a bit Hit & Miss, you could try this. It tells you what the incompatability actually is, if ANY . . .

This was recommended by Paul Thurrott and Mary Jo Foley on Windows Weekly last week.

    I hope this helps.

Gen10 CPU? The laptop probably supports PTT, although I don't find a mention of that in its manual.
Desktop. Yeah, I thought Lenovo only made laptops.

Oops. I'm an idiot. I saw that it was a minitower, but did not observe. However, it still applies.

One minor correction: it's an IdeaCentre 55-14IMBO5.

Why on earth are Microsoft firing out notifications about win 11 to all and sundry, most of whom have comps not compliant? I have absolutely no doubt that the vast majority of these are expecting they could get win 11 soon.

    Borders on irresponsibility.

    Hi there

    @specialkone,

If you copy the iso and then use Rufus you can install and run entirely from an external device (as a Windows2GO). If you use an external SSD connected to machine via SATA-USB2/3/C connector the system will boot and run entirely from the external device - on rufus select show usb disk drives and choose the windows to go option .

You'll get the initial "Clean" windows install screen - i.e select keyboard etc as per the initial boot when doing a normal install. The whole thing runs entirely from the external SSD --- even with USB2 connector performance is more than adequate.

Here I'm making a WindowstoGo of W2K19 server I got a license from work for learning, and to get a bit of experience with W2K19 server at home .

Excellent way of testing without having to mess around with anything on your main machine !!!! Install programs etc as normal.

You'll probably find its also activated if you are running rufus from a W10 system.

    Cheers

    Yes, I'm a Heinlein fan.

    Lenovo MT 90NA Idea Centre 5 14IMBOS Intel Core i3-10100 CPU 3.6 GHz, 4 cores, 8 logical

Also have a MSI Geforce GT 710 2 gig video card.
This should almost certainly have built-in TPM in the form of PTT

I followed the instructions to download windows 11. It gave me some files, but no executable. I figured I would try out Windows 11 to get away from the frustration of playing PUBG. Trying to install Windows 11 is just as frustrating LOL.

You get ISO from uupdump and you either mount it and run it from disk or you can put it onto USB.
