my hack was to delete the "appraiserres.dll" file completely. you need to create a new folder and then transfer the contents from the iso folder into the folder you have just created and then you will be able to delete that file as it will no longer be an iso file. you then just click on set up and away you go. please note that this simple hack will only be available till windows 11 goes live to the public later in the year. you will then need to restore windows 10 as your computer will not be able to run 11 owing to the TPM requirements etc
Just checked and I have TPM2 on my 10 years old Toshiba Portege but no socket on my much newer ASUS motherboard.
No worries. According to the manual (https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/m...0-P_UM_WEB.pdf), it has PTT (platform trust technology, Intel's firmware TPM). That's a full TPM support.

Likely TPM 1.2 or older though not 2.0 as win-11 requires
It is not clear to me if a pre release (insider) of Windows 11is available now. Can I download it on USB and give it a try?
