The 'Leaked Version' is simply Windows 10 with some different colored socks on, which some former MS employee snuck onto the web!!!
Yep...in all respects W11 = W10. I guess they had to bump up the number because of raising the hardware baselines slightly between the versions. Might as well say that it would have been too confusing to up the baselines in Win10, so from that perspective calling it W11 makes more sense.

Win10 has years ahead of it, but now I'm wondering if 21390.2025 is the very last Win10 Insider's build we'll get...? I guess that initially release preview will go on spitting out Win10 Insider builds; beta channel goes to W11 on machines that fail some aspects of the W11 checklist, while the dev channel goes straight to bog-standard Win11 next week, from what I've read.

    waw nice hehe

i now installing win 10 on my old potato laptop
    Intel® Core 2 Duo/Celeron Processor 3gb ram 640gb disk x3100 intel

then i go upgrade to 11 hope it will works without tpm and secure boot
Probably NOT. I can attest that the pre-release Leaked version runs file on a PC without TPM or Secure Boot. It is not Win11 that is the issue; it is the Win11 Installer -- it will refuse to install on your PC, and while MS has said they will waive some or all of the hardware requirements for Insiders, they are not going to do that when it gets released. So unless they change their tune, there will be no Upgrade of your PC to Win11.

For me, I copied EVERYTHING in the Sources Folder from a Win 10 ISO, EXCEPT the install.wim, to the Sources Folder of the Win 11 ISO. Worked great on 10+ Year old Laptop.

Here in Brazil, the only ones who have TPM (PMS on English = Pre-Menstrual Tension) are women!

Unfortunatelly, my Asus Sabertooth Z87 (with connector for TPM) + i7-4770K not have it for default... and buy, I think that not for while!

    ------------
I read on a reputable site that it will be possible to install Windows11 on some legacy PCs, with the following path:
    1) Have a bootable USB/CDROM with full Windows10 (edition X = Win11 if possible), as default, ready for "clean" installation
    2) Copy the Windows11 "Install.win" (no any others files) to the "Sources" folder on the Windows10 bootable USB/CDROM.
    3) proceed with the installation from the bootable Windows10 USB/CDROM as expected.
This way, even with the installation, which would be Windows10, it would be possible, even if you receive some message that Windows11 is not compatible with your legacy PC, the installation would proceed anyway, without being "barred" by the secure boot or other barrier already announced.

I'm hoping to get a copy of Windows11 and prove this possibility, however, if that's not possible, let's continue on Windows10... it's fine this way, I don't want a collection of bugs hanging around my system anymore...

    Paul,

    That's very interesting.

But have I understood you correctly?
    - The [leaked version] ISO refused to install on the test computer whilst TPM and/or Secure Boot were disabled/absent.
    - You jobbed the Sources folder contents as you described
    - The [leaked version] ISO with the jobbed Sources folder contents installed on the test computer despite TPM and/or Secure Boot being disabled/absent.

I appreciate that it is very early days but your test is very encouraging.

    All the best,
    Denis

    [1] When I ran tpm.msc it showed as v1.2.
[2] I did NOT have Secure Boot Enabled.
[3] This was on Legacy - MBR.

    Yes,

PCH-FW The manual says...........This item allows you to configure the firmware TPM. But I think the firmware is not there because what's the purpose of the TPM connector if it's already there.

But I will check it in the BIOS settings tomorrow.

    Robbie
