Is it just me or has this and possibly the previous such update slowed the Internet to a crawl? The troubleshooter says nothing is wrong but everything now acts like it's got a delay of around 15 - 20 seconds. My VPN is off & disconnected as that makes it worse.

I've had a few hangs but whether that is connected to the CUs I can't say. It could just as easily be Chrome which updated recently.

Thanks. I use Firefox x64 and it's up to date as is everything, except my ancient-ish PC. I use Bell Fibe which is usually lightning fast but even their router/modem a few metres away showed a Ping latency of 4ms. It's usually 1 or less. It could be Windows Defender or perhaps my browser add-ons are delaying things. It's going to take a long checkup by me I guess.

I have experienced no such delays (I use Firefox).

I can't remember when I downloaded 21H1, but all I get are updates every week and seems some times 2X's a week. Gees, can't those WIN Endeneers get things right or do you call this job SECURITY?? I have installed on 5 laptops!

Latest update has messed up my computer big time! Both the one at home and the one at the Sr. Center.

It takes at least 90 seconds to shut down, and won't cooperate when trying to open my external drive for my lessons!

This one (mostly) took care of itself. Was already on 4 of the 5 machines I checked on for status. Good-oh! That's the way -- uh huh, uh huh -- I like it!

I did update Firefox to the latest last week, but disliked the 'Chromized' UI so much, I wound back to V 88.0.1 on two machines.
Since then I notice that loading 'Google News' takes forever, with Firefox complaing that 'This page is slowing Firefox, do you want to stop it' etc.

I deduced that it was more likely to be as a result of something that Google had done, than Firefox?

You do not have to do these updates at all. You can ignore them. They will become part of the next Patch Tuesday updates.
